Testimonials: What Clients Are Saying About Us

“We have worked with Digital Sabre for over six months now and so far, we have been thoroughly impressed with the results. We are currently in the process of building a list of items that need to be taken care of prior to the product release. I have no doubt these issues will be addressed expeditiously and efficiently; their track record is outstanding. And I can’t wait to see the final version. I am so interested in peeking under the hood to see just how the architecture turned out.”

-- Kevin Felichko, CTO of Anybill Financial Services

Since 1997, Anybill has been providing accounts payable software and services to the small-to-medium enterprise market, as well as large corporations and institutions. The relationship between DSS and Anybill has quickly evolved into a full-scale strategic alliance as DSS continues to work on an extensive upgrade for their next generation accounting application. Demystifying the Technology: Practical Ways to Save Your Company Money in 2009

Not only is the New Year a time for personal reflection and resolution, it’s an ideal time for business to re-evaluate methods and strategies. Explore new ways of improving profitability by taking an objective approach to re-assessing business processes. Look at how your business operates; Is it functioning as efficiently as possible or are there ways to streamline procedures? Companies can greatly benefit by employing a third party to aid in this analysis. But, before you do anything, check our recommendations below for practical, cost-cutting tactics that can save your company money now.

Be Objective
Never think you’ve heard it all. The next great profitable idea may be just around the corner, but you’ll never know it if you aren’t open to opportunities.

Consolidate
Combine all shared services by merging things like “help desk” into one group that services the entire company.

Inventory Your Software
Eliminate a significant amount of waste by taking stock in your current software. Discard unused software modules and gather any idle software licenses to reuse them for new personnel.

Use the Internet
Where possible, use the Internet as a replacement for expensive WAN/ISB transport services, file transfer, email, and instant messaging. For example, use SKYPE (Internet telephony) for international business calls and save yourself a bundle. (See www.skype.com for more information.)

Automate
By automating routine tasks in the sales process, the purchasing cycle is shortened. Shorter cycle times mean that the money can come in much faster. Never forget, time is money!

Improve Accuracy
More accurate information reduces the time spent on costly problem solving initiatives. Highly reliable automated efforts can significantly reduce the margin of user-error and cut costs.

Focus on Customer Relations
When you know more about your customer, you can better satisfy their needs. Employ a customer relationship management (CRM) application to get a more accurate picture of your purchaser.

Be Open to Change
If you don’t have a progressive mindset, then you are essentially giving your business away to the competition. There is always more than one way to solve a problem. Examine ALL the solutions and be open to more profitable opportunities.

In today’s tough economic times, it is imperative that you take the time to re-evaluate your business strategy to achieve success. Holding on to out-dated procedures in the hopes of making a profit will leave you in an adverse situation, unable to compete and unprepared for the future. Take a pro-active stance now and take control of your company’s profit picture. Make this New Year a time of opportunity and positive change, and put your business in a better position to reap future rewards.

Sabre Solutions: Robust Ecommerce Site Is Only the Beginning

A few months ago, a multi-disciplinary brand marketing and design firm, came to DSS in need of a simple ecommerce site for one of their clients. What they got was a high-end ecommerce solution with all the bells and whistles their client needed at a cost-effective price. This feature-rich application includes:

Product Reviews – Customers can read detailed product reviews submitted by real users.
Up-sell Features – Complimentary products are showcased along with the selected product.
Wish List – Customers can choose to save products for future purchase.
Special Offers – Discounts and special offers are highlighted depending on the product selected.
Product Comparisons – A side-by-side comparison feature lets customers simultaneously evaluate products.
Economical Design – The application itself is remarkably efficient; functionality allows for one stored product that has the added capability of generating multiple configurations.

Now, as the project approaches the final stages of development, it is anticipated this synergistic partnership will continue to develop and prosper into a long-term effort that will benefit both parties. This robust ecommerce Web site is, in all likelihood, just the beginning.

Accomplishments and Undertakings

Training Web Site on Schedule
Digital Sabre has partnered with Chesapeake Aviation Training, Inc. to develop and produce a complex, multifaceted subscription-based ecommerce Web site. AvWxWorkshops.com will provide educational services to pilots offering online flight training and an extensive library of aviation weather audio and video workshops. The Web site will encompass a tiered membership format that will track users based on their level of commitment. Storage capacity remains a significant factor as their current audio and video library is substantial. Look for this new Web site in mid-February. For more information, contact Will Leger at will@digitalsabre.net.

New Marketing Tool Expected to Boost Sales
Digital Sabre has completed a new interactive marketing CD for a prominent West coast company. This flash-based sales presentation offers an interactive experience, actively engaging the potential customer in the material. It is expected this marketing effort will result in improved corporate visibility and increased sales. To find out more about how this cost-effective marketing tool can help advance sales, contact Will Leger at will@digitalsabre.net.

DigitalSabre.net Gets a Makeover
In the midst of multiple time-intensive projects and the looming deadlines imposed by the New Year, Digital Sabre launched our own newly modernized Web site. The site effectively restructures information and resources to better serve clients and first-time visitors. Highlights include: client testimonials, case studies, White Papers, a glimpse into ongoing projects, IT news items, and more. Plus, visit the Web site, at www.digitalsabre.net, to view a newly produced video about Digital Sabre and the cutting-edge, custom software solutions we offer.

DSS Spotlight: Looking Ahead to the Future

There is no question that 2008 was a banner year for Digital Saber. With a revenue increase of two hundred percent (200%), DSS experienced unprecedented growth. In 2009, the outlook for Digital Sabre looks extremely promising as well. Current business relationships are positioned to develop into more elaborate, strategic partnerships and new companies will finally join the lengthy DSS roster of satisfied clients. Digital Sabre remains committed to process automation and the efficient, cost-effective use of various technologies to improve business practices. However, some issues will move more to the forefront as the year progresses.

At Digital Sabre, we feel strongly that as a company, it is our responsibility to give back to the community and become involved on a local level. For 2009, our goal is to continue to advance community-focused efforts by hosting and participating in more county-wide events. By utilizing our extensive IT resources, we can improve the welfare of many local businesses and help develop the local marketplace in the process.

As with many companies this year, Digital Sabre is moving toward a “greener” way of doing things. In the quest to make the world a healthier, cleaner place, we hope our efforts to “Go Green” will set a good example for other companies to emulate. Our aim is to find new business solutions that have more of an impact on production and less of an effect on the environment.

In the coming months, look for Digital Sabre to play a more advisory role as more and more companies are testing the technology waters. This new trend positions DSS as more of an IT resource, where the technology provided by DSS is effectively “leased” to the middleman who ultimately delivers the product. Our development cycle is ideally suited for this business model as we have quality controlled processes in place that involve the client every step of the way; there are no surprises when the end-product is delivered. This is an affordable way to complete a project on a very limited budget.

No one can predict the future, but we can take steps to ensure it’s a positive, more productive time full of opportunity and tremendous potential. We spent 2008 making this happen and we have every intention of keeping the momentum going, making 2009 even better!
